SANDA ISLAND ISSUES NEW STAMPS
No stamps have been issued by Sanda Island since 1986*. This issue shows local views and the themes of all further issues will be related to the island and its environment. The Royal Mail Scottish £0.28 stamp is cancelled with a special Royal Mail Handstamp (Ref 9144)
The £1.00 stamp shows the Sanda Lighthouse, the £0.75 the renovated Tavern , the £0.50 is an aerial view of the island and the £0.25 is a lovely picture of the famous Puffins! The stamps have been printed by Walsall Printers, on dry gummed paper and are perforated.
